David Bauer, Intel Science Search
2005 Legacy Award Winner
David Bauer's research in the summer of 2005, with Professor Valeria Balogh-Nair at The City College of New York yielded a paper that was accepted for publication in Applied Physics Letters on the "Third-order Nonlinear Optical Properties of a Cadmiun Sulfide-Dendrimer Nanocomposite."
The Liberian organization David runs, United Liberia, begun consultation with Liberian community and media organizations regarding the creation of a service to facilitate their publication of news content on the Internet by removing the technical burden associated with Internet publication. The service, United Liberia Press, is expected to launch in early 2006.

Melissa has written a children's opera based on Daniel in the Lion's Den which was premiered in April at the Church of the Redeemer in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

2005 Legacy Award Winner
Hillary graduated Valedictorian from Duke Ellington School of the Arts and is an intern for NARAL Maryland. She will attend Goucher College in the fall and continue her work at NARAL.
