Deepa Bhupali: National Institute of Mental Health.
2004 Legacy Award Winner, Science
Deepa Bhupali is from Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Georgetown University with a major in Sociology and a minor in Theology, while fulfilling pre-medical requirements and becoming a certified Emergency Medial Technician. After graduation, Deepa worked at the National Institutes of Health and specifically, she focused on Alzheimers disease, as part of the Geriatric Psychiatry Branch. Currently, Deepa is working at FasterCures, a non-profit "action" tank dedicated to accelerating the process of finding medical cures. This August, Deepa will begin medical school at Wright State University in Ohio.

Rachel Douglas: Duke Ellington School of the Arts
2004 Legacy Award Winner, Performing Arts
Rachel is originally from Connecticut. She graduated from the Theater Department at Duke Ellington School of Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.. Besides directing, Rachel has performed on stage in Washington and Paris, France. She will attend Harvard in Fall 2005.

Simeon McMillan: Intel Science Talent Search: Seaborg Prize
2004 Legacy Award Winner, Science
From Baldwin, New York, Simeon graduated first in his class at Uniondale High School. He is fluent in Spanish and plays the violin in a string quartet that he started. He submitted a three-year study that traced the relationships between frogs and toads from North and Central America buy bioacoustic analysis of their cells for the Intel Science Talent Search. He was awarded the Seaborg Prize for his commitment to scientific cooperation and communication. Currently Simeon is studying computer science and finance at the University of Pennsylvania. Within the Wharton School, he serves as a teaching assistant and peer advisor to incoming first-year students in the Management 100 program. He is also co-manager of the IT staff for Reipe College House.

Brandon Terry: Phillips Brooks House, Harvard
2004 Legacy Award Winner, Service and Humanities
Brandon Terry is from Baltimore and graduated as salutatorian from Western School of Technology and Environmental Science in Catonsville, Maryland. At Harvard, he studied Government and Afro-American Studies and was the president of the Black Men's Forum as well as working with a number of youth-based programs in the Boston area. In Fall 2005, Brandon will be studying at Christ Church, Oxford, England.

Brian Goldstein: Phillips Brooks House, Harvard
2003 Legacy Award Winner, Service and Humanities
Brian Goldstein grew up in Wyoming, Ohio. He is interested in the historical evolution of cities, urban sociology, and how environments impact their human users. He graduated from Harvard College in 2004, where he wrote this senior thesis on the role of architecture in public housing, and how architecture is interpreted differently as a result of changing social context. Brian is currently putting his theory into practice as a planner in the Urban Development /Good Neighbor program at the U.S. General Services Administration in Washington, DC. In Washington, DC.

Lester Mackey: Intel Science Talent Search - Seaborg Prize.
2003 Legacy Award Winner, Science
Lester is from Long Island, New York, and was valedictorian at Half Hollow Hills High School. He has tutored Spanish and higher Mathematics to middle school students. Going into his junior year in September at Princeton University, Lester will complete his Bachelor of Science in engineering and computer science.

2003 Legacy Award Winner, Performing Arts
From Washington, DC, Davie graduated as a Literary Media major at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. and received a full four-year scholarship to the George Washington University. One of her ultimate goals is to own her own multi-lingual radio station.
