Jalen Coleman

Jalen Coleman, a senior at Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC., is a theatre department major who loves to act and create works of art that inspire others to help change the world for the better. Jalen has a 4.0 GPA and was accepted to The Juilliard School.  Jalen's recent stage performances include Bubbling Brown Sugar, Macbeth, Midsummer's Night Dream, Rent, and The Story. He credits the guidance and training of mentors for his ability to achieve his dreams and he thanks his family and teachers who continue to inspire him, all of their legacies live within his heart.
