Atin Mittra

Atin grew up in West Windsor, New Jersey. He is the co-founder and head of product for Ellie, a breastfeeding diagnostic tool for new moms. He won the Benjamin Franklin Legacy Prize in 2015 recognizing his work in innovation and entrepreneurship through Venturewell.
Atin is passionate about finding new ways to educate people. He founded the social enterprise MADE, which provided peer-to-peer financial education for college students. He continued this passion for education soon after graduating college, by teaching Design Thinking and Lean Launchpad as an Innovation Specialist at the University of Maryland. Nationally, he worked with the non-profit University Innovation Fellows to galvanize higher education into adopting a more bias-toward-action approach to learning.
In 2014 Atin graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Technology Entrepreneurship. In addition to serving on the Junto, Atin is the Design Lead for Impact NY, a non-profit focused on creating objective dialogue on important social issues.
Atin currently lives in New York City and enjoys shooting photography, writing, and playing drums in his free time.
